San Jose State University · Department of Computer Science
The Security and AI Lab (SAIL) at San Jose State University focuses on research at the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Led by Dr. Amith Kamath Belman, our work spans three interconnected areas: securing computing systems at the hardware and software level, applying machine learning and AI frameworks to security challenges such as threat detection and biometric identity, and studying the robustness of AI/ML models against adversarial manipulation.
Our students gain hands-on research experience in real-world security challenges, preparing them for careers in cybersecurity and AI.
